  • Will I be able to bring my pet to live with me at Applewood?

    We understand that pets are beloved members of your family, and we’re happy to welcome them to Applewood. We do expect that you will take full responsibility for your pet, feeding and caring as required. Please ask about our pet policies.

  • Can I bring my own furniture and personal accessories to decorate my new home?

    Yes, of course. It wouldn’t be your home if you weren’t surrounded by your personal treasures. Applewood suites are designed with a kitchenette containing a microwave and small refrigerator. You are welcome to bring your own furniture, pictures, drapes, bed linens, towels, plants, and anything else that will make you feel comfortable. There is plenty of storage space for your personal belongings too.

  • I am not a morning person. Am I expected to come down for breakfast?

    You are not required to come down for breakfast if you prefer to sleep in. We offer a breakfast program enabling you to prepare your breakfast in the comfort and privacy of your suite. The Friendship Room is a 24-hour Café should you wish to come down and have fresh juice, hot beverages or snack at any time.

  • Can I do my own laundry?

    Yes. There are laundry room facilities available at Applewood for your personal use. You may also choose to have our team do your laundry on a weekly basis, giving you more time to enjoy other things. There is a small extra charge to have our team do your personal laundry.

  • What happens if I require extra attention?

    We can customize additional care services based on your needs, this way you can continue to live in your home at Applewood where you’re comfortable.

  • When can my friends and family visit?

    Your family and friends are welcome here anytime. For a family visit, an overnight stay or to have a meal with you.

  • Can I go out anytime I want?

    You may come and go as you please. For fire and safety purposes, we simply ask that you sign out when leaving and sign back in once you return. The sign-out/sign-in book is located at the Front Desk.

  • Do I have to sign a lease?

    We ask residents to sign a lease in order to ensure everyone is aware of their rights and the standards of the community. At that time, the charges for all services will be explained and provided in writing so you are well informed. However, you are not held to a long-term commitment, and we request only thirty days’ notice if you wish to leave Applewood for any reason.
